A POD is a mushroom seeding device that contains the mycelium and its nutrition. It allows you to plant a mycelium by inserting the device into very moist soil : in a planter, in a forest or as part of a culture! Find more information on the page " What is a POD? "
02
A mushroom is born from a spore (the "seed" of the mushroom), then forming a filament. This filament, which can be compared to the root of a plant, grows and branches and becomes visible to the naked eye. The soil on which it develops is its support and its source of food. The mycelium feeds on organic matter and fruits in the form of a mushroom.
03
It's very simple.
Water your soil copiously where your PODs will be installed,
Arrange your PODs in the ground, spacing them 30 centimeters apart and so that each one can be buried under 2 to 3 cm of soil,
Cover your culture with the incubation veil provided.
04
The initial mycelium network is quickly visible around the PODs. After two months, the entire nutrient resource of the PODs is consumed, the mycelium network is finalized and will fruit in spring.
05
To reuse your PODs,
Empty their contents and clean them with clean water. If your PODs are dirty, use bleach or lime water to clean them.
